About Us

Malawin Lasten ja Nuorten Avuksi ry is an independent global organization founded on humanitarian principles.
We are building a better tomorrow, one step at a time, and believe that education plays a key role in sustainable development. Our goal is to improve opportunities within the community through education by building and maintaining a school in the village of Muona, Malawi.
Project Background
Our Story
The organization was founded in 2012 in Kajaani, Finland. We are driven by the idea of creating real sustainable positive change by working directly with the local community. There are currently 48 members around the globe.
Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world and almost half of the population is under the age of 15. The youth are the future and it's important to invest in their opportunities. We believe that there is no better way to do this than through education.
Our answer to these challenges is turning worry into action and building a 8-grade school in the Muona village. You can follow our progress on the News section, on Facebook or on Instagram.
